Here’s the situation:
The workplace is under staffed but adequately skilled. You’re people know their stuff but they’re overworked.
One staff member misses an important deadline. Not because they’re not capable. But because they’re being pulled in a million directions and other high priority issues keep coming up.
As a leader what do you do?
LEADERSHIP LESSON: Next time one of your team members, employees or people are in distress… consider making a “human” decision to help them deal with their situation, rather than a “business” decision.
Business decisions sometimes kick people who have already fallen down and are trying desperately to get up. We’re all humans – let your leadership style reflect that.

The power of friendship
It was our first coaching session – went really well.
At the end was when ‘he’ said:
“Thank you for talking to me like my best friend.”
💥 That hit me hard!
I was simply doing what I enjoy doing – listening and asking questions. Ok ok – the other thing I like doing is talking 😜.
There’s no question ‘he’ is going to smash those 2022 goals.
And it’s going to be damn sweet watching him step into the next best version of himself…
… now because of the power of friendship!
It’s an absolute honour and privilege to serve the people I do, in the way I only know how: offering maximum value and walking with them on the journey!
