What do you need to change?

A few weeks ago I facilitated a rapid fire, fast and furious, hot and heavy training on change management to over 50 healthcare leaders.

It was a quick 45min – but oh boy the group was fully engaged and we almost ran out of time.

We discussed the ADKAR model to change management. This may help organize your thoughts and planning if you’re implementing some kind of change:

  • Awareness –  Recognizing the need for change
  • Desire – Having the motivation to support and engage in the change process
  • Knowledge – Acquiring the knowledge necessary to make the change happen
  • Ability – Developing the skills and behaviors required to implement the change effectively
  • Reinforcement – Providing reinforcement to sustain the change over time

It’s also important to keep in mind the consequences of mismanaged change. Thinking about these in advance can help lessen the impact if any one of these factors show up in real-time.

  • Resistance or slow adoption rates
  • Incurring increased costs
  • Failure to meet objectives
  • Facing higher risks

Bigger picture

Funny thing – change management isn’t just needed in organizations. What about within your family? What about within yourself .. whether for personal growth or optimal leadership performance?

You likely know exactly what you need to change in your life, business or career.

💥 What’s holding you back from making that change?
💥 What’s at stake if you don’t?

And as always, CONQUER your potential!
