Time vs effort

Time vs effort

Time vs Effort. There’s a difference.

It’s similar to “are you counting the reps, or making the reps count”.

πŸ‘‰πŸ½ Or as my dad used to say “Working hard? Or hardly working?” – Dad jokes rock! πŸ˜…

Essentially this boils down to quality over quantity. However keeping in mind that quantity will result in quality over time when you reflect and correct.

That’s right, quantity CAN equal quality. Shocking.

So, don’t just count the hours. Be productive and make the hours count. And remember that when you do put in enough hours, quality can rise to the top.

My quality

One of the most impactful ways that ‘quantity = quality’ is showing up for me is through all the coaching conversations and leadership development trainings I’ve been doing. Because of the time and effort I’ve put into being able to reflect and correct, I’m able to add value to the people and groups I speak with.

So much so that because of a coaching conversation with two different individuals, one (who happens to be a coach), gained clarity on his ability to host a leadership development/personal growth event. He wants it to be different than a typical event. He’s now in full planning mode and on track to make around $10k from that event.

Another coaching conversation led a different individual to making changes to his workout supplementation. He’s now able to get better rest at night and doesn’t feel drained throughout the day.

I share this not to impress, but rather impress upon … when you put in legitimate effort, there’s no way growth of some kind doesn’t happen.

Now you

What’s at least one area in your personal growth, professional development or financial independence that you need to ‘put in the quantity’ so that you’re ‘left with the quality’? There’s got to be at least one.

Reply back and let me know – I’m nosey like that … I like getting up in your business πŸ˜€.
