I have a special relationship with Seva Food Bank.
I remember the youth retreat where the concept of Seva Food Bank was first discussed, over 10 years ago. I’m humbled to have been part of those early discussions. And I was able to volunteer for the very first shift when doors opened at the Malton location.
Throughout the years, my family and I have participated and donated to many Seva days, the most recent being for my late Mom who passed away from cancer in 2022.
Several months ago, I had the pleasure of serving the team at Seva Food Bank who tirelessly serve so many families. They were excited to spend time together and many shared that it was too short of a session. YEAHH BUDDY!!
We unpacked values-based leadership and followed it up with 1:1 performance coaching. Damn … this team was absolutely on fire!
As I sit back and reflect, what a full circle moment! From serving families in the very first shift, to now serving the Seva team!
It’s a privilege to do what I do!
