Today’s lesson(s) is meant to be introspective.
I heard something interesting the other day .. to the effect of: Your ego exists to protect your self identity.
For example, if your identity is that of a fixed mindset, as in “I’m right, I don’t need to learn more, this is how I’ve always done it,” that’s what your ego will protect.
If your identity is that of a growth mindset, as in “How can I serve, what can I do to add value, what can I learn or improve from this experience,” then that’s what your ego will protect.
You are not your ego.
