Mind the growth traps
There is no growth without hurdles, obstacles, traps, gaps or roadblocks. That’s a given. As you start to take action..as you start to work on your growth, there are some traps that you want to look out for. Here are a few.
Don’t let your mind trick you into thinking:
- I assume I will grow automatically
- I don’t know how to grow
- It’s not the right time to begin
Again, these are just a few growth traps – there are many more. As you think through these growth traps or others, ask yourself:
👉🏽 How have these growth traps shown up in my life, or how are they currently showing up?
👉🏽 What can I do to overcome these traps?
👉🏽 When I do overcome these traps, what will that mean to my personal or professional leadership development?
